Following on from my last ramble on the difficulties of putting together a decent blog post which some people out there are prepared to read, my dilemma on dealing with writer’s block is made all the more difficult for me because I am not about to share my most base thoughts with you. I finally ran out of ideas and thoughts on what to post. Normally I would just walk away and come back when I was good and ready to do another posting. But not this time around. Having lived a full life right up to his late eighties, my father could never be regarded as your typically crusty old man or a geriatric bow-backed weakling who could barely shuffle forward with his walker. That harsh and clear description is reserved for the thousands of men and women who managed to live that long but gave up earlier on in life to the degree that as their minds began to waiver and lose focus, the bodies that are also designed to hold them together slowly began to crumble before their eyes.
